Design Firm Logo

First Logo designed for Dragon Gate Design in 2007. The logo’s design comes form a Chinese legend: In Chinese mythology the Dragon’s Gate is a waterfall where a carp upon successfully jumping over it will become a dragon. The carp though its transformation into a dragon displays the ability to resist hurdles and achieve success. Communicating in the 21st century not only requires command over words and imagery but also command over the technology that delivers this information to an audience. Dragon Gate Design integrates technology and design to build communication systems that jump over these hurdles and help successfully deliver information through web and print mediums. I was also born in the year of the Dragon, so I adopted the khoi fishas part of my logo during the first design.
